Sellers, Ayers, Dortch & Lyons is seeking an associate attorney with at least three years of practice experience to join our First-in-Class community association practice in Charlotte. Prior community association experience is helpful but not required. North Carolina licensure is required. South Carolina licensure is preferred or must be obtained promptly after hire.The attorney will work directly with homeowners associations and their boards on a broad range of matters, including corporate governance, interpretation and enforcement of declarations and other governing documents, contract matters, assessment collections, liens, and foreclosures. The position offers substantial client contact and the opportunity to develop into a trusted advisor to association boards and managers.
