Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with three to five years of experience to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate + Development practice group based in our Boston, Hartford, or Providence office.Among our several practice areas, Robinson+Cole's Real Estate + Development practice group regularly represents developers and lenders in complex commercial real estate transactions with a particular focus on affordable housing.
Representative clients include national developers, national banks, and owners of all classes of real estate assets. Of specific interest for this position, the Real Estate + Development practice group represents developers and lenders in the area of affordable housing development, rehabilitation, and financing.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience representing clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including developers and lenders in acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions, together with strong fundamentals, including experience with title and survey review, acquisitions and dispositions, and transaction and loan document drafting and review. Experience with affordable housing tax credit transactions is a plus. Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. Admission to the Massachusetts and/or Connecticut bar is required for this position. Top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills are also required.
