Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening inthe Denver, CO office for an Income Partner in our Litigation Department. Theideal candidate will have 12+ years of progressive litigation experience. They willhandle a range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, breach ofwarranty, mechanic's lien claims, bond claims, and business torts. Thisattorney will lead complex commercial litigation matters from inception throughresolution, including trial and arbitration.

Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.Must hold an active license to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Knowledge,Skills, & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex litigation matters independently from inception through resolution.
  • Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience.
  • Second-chair trial or arbitration experience required; first-chair experience strongly preferred
  • Experience developing and executing litigation strategies in state and federal court, including complex multi-party actions, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents, and preparing and responding to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions of parties, fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnesses, and participating in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Ability to maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel about case developments and litigation strategy.
  • Ability to track deadlines, manage caseloads efficiently, and ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
  • Ability to lead and supervise litigation teams, mentor associates and counsel, manage client relationships, and contribute meaningfully to business development and client growth initiatives.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and client-relations skills.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Team player; collaborative approach; highly motivated.
  • Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
