Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial disputes, provide strategic legal counsel, and represent clients through all phases of litigation, including trial and alternative dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Manage discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Develop litigation strategies and case plans
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively
- Maintain strong client communication and provide timely updates
- Collaborate with partners and legal support staff
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- 3–8+ years of commercial litigation experience (preferred, adjustable)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Trial or courtroom experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Excellent negotiation and client management skills
