Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling commercial litigation matters and strong writing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to take on challenging cases and further develop their legal expertise. Prior clerkship experience is a plus.Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services and support firm initiatives
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience practicing commercial litigation
- Strong litigation skills, including proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service
