Responsibilities and practice:A Worlds Largest Law Firm is seeking a mid-level or senior associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in any of our California offices. Candidates should have 4-8 years of complex litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and proven analytic ability. Ideal candidates will have extensive litigation experience on sophisticated legal matters and some exposure to insurance litigation. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals
- Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
- Drafting complex case analyses and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
- Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel
Pursuant to California law, the salary range for this position will be $280,000 to $380,000 based on experience and location. Based on years of experience, A Worlds Largest Law Firm associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. - 4-8 years of experience in complex, sophisticated litigation is required

- Deposition and court experience is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California and be in good standing
