Foley & Lardner is seeking a 2nd-4th year associate (i.e., law school graduation class of 2022-2024) to join the Commercial Litigation Practice Group in our Orlando office. Qualified candidates must be strong and persuasive legal writers and oral advocates and have experience with complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, an exceptional work ethic, and must be comfortable having direct interaction with partners and clients.

To be considered, candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is $240,000-$290,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
