As a member of the WW Commercial and International Legal Group, you will work with Apple's sales organization to help deliver and introduce Apple products across the world. Description:
You will join a team of attorneys supporting Apple's sales organizations and related cross-functional teams, in the sale, marketing, and distribution of Apple products and services. You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional business and engineering teams to support and strategize on product distribution and service strategies around the world. You will draft, review, negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements and advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Advising and supporting sales and operations on a variety of complex contracts and commercial projects in the channel, including direct engagement with customers and partners.
- Negotiating and drafting strategic agreements, including sales, distribution, marketing, and after-sales service of Apple products.
- Providing solutions-based counseling to all levels of management on a wide variety of complex legal and business issues.
- Building relationships and collaborating with multiple teams across Apple's organization to identify and resolve issues and close deals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
- 4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house experience, including experience with commercial transactions or litigation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and drafting skills: ability to listen, communicate, and draft in a clear and concise manner, present and speak-up, influence, convince, and confront ideas to get to the right decision
- Curious, self-starter who can work independently, thrives in building strong relationships and driving projects involving cross functional teams, and skilled in collaborating with clients based in various geographies
- Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented with a strong business acumen, excellent time management and organizational skills, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Experience handling artificial intelligence matters, including an understanding of the current and evolving regulatory landscape and impacts on commercial transactions
- Familiarity with competition law and other relevant legal issues related to sales, marketing, and distribution in the US and/or other geos
- Comfort handling multiple projects on competing timelines
- Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
- Comfortable advising and working with senior and executive management
Pay & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,700 and $301,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
