Commercial Counsel Job Description
LevelBlue is seeking a qualified Commercial Counsel to join our legal team and play a key role in supporting the global commercial transactions practice for a leading cybersecurity company. The Commercial Counsel will work with a global team of contracts professionals within our legal team (based in the United States, Japan, and Australia) as we support LevelBlue stakeholders, clients, and vendors to drive growth and solve business problems.

Responsibilities:
- Work with a global team of contracts analysts and attorneys to support the global sales organization
- Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial agreements, including master service and technology agreements with clients and vendors on both LevelBlue and third-party paper
- Partner with finance, sales operations, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes
- Advise multiple business units on strategic business initiatives, balancing legal considerations with business realities
- Support legal team initiatives and projects
Basic Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 2-3 years combined experience in law firm or in-house legal department, including experience negotiating and drafting technology, consulting and professional services agreements
- Contract drafting and negotiation experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and interact effectively and autonomously with clients and business leaders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to partner collaboratively with internal business teams and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for or with multinational companies or clients
- Familiarity with technical concepts in security software and services
- Interest or experience in employment law, data privacy, or litigation
- Experience in supporting sales departments as an internal client
