About Us:We are a Bryan/College Station, Texas Civil/Commercial litigation firm with an immediate opening for a full-time in-person associate position. The Firm is well established in Brazos County and the surrounding area. We are committed to providing quality legal services to clients in a wide range of civil and commercial areas with a focus on business, construction, and real estate disputes. Ours is a close knit team that values, integrity, accountability, responsiveness, flexibility and results. We are seeking a skilled and motivated associate attorney to join our team and grow this practice alongside our managing partner.
Position Requirements:
- Active license and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- 2-5 years of Texas civil/commercial litigation experience
- Prior experience in depositions, hearings, motion practice, hearings, and in trials
- Excellent research/writing skills
- An understanding of and experience with the Texas Rules of Procedure and Evidence.
- Detail oriented with a commitment to providing excellent service to the client
- Full-time in-person position (not remote)
Responsibilities:
- Manage his or her own docket while also assisting a senior attorney in other ongoing litigation.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings including hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal analysis and develop case strategies.
- Communicate and interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
