Job Description:Olson Law Group, a premier civil litigation defense firm in Woodland Hills, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator or someone with a background in litigation to come on board and handle insurance defense matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload involving auto liability, general liability, and premises liability defense.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda.
- Develop and execute effective defense strategies, providing sound legal advice to clients.
- Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with billing guidelines while maintaining high productivity.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active California Bar membership in good standing.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Strong analytical, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work independently.
- Strong client communication and case management skills.
- Competitive salary: $150,000 - $200,000, based on experience.
