Alvarez, Thompson & Smoak, P.A. is currently seeking dedicated, hard-working professionals for our Tampa office with litigation experience. Candidates must be licensed in Florida.

Responsibilities of Litigation Attorney:

Litigate and negotiate on behalf of clients in civil cases
Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong cases
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
Collaborate with colleagues and experts to develop case strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files

Experience of Litigation Attorney:

Active Florida Bar license in good standing
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in Florida
Proven experience as a litigation attorney, preferably with Commercial Transportation litigation experience preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
