We are seeking industrious, committed, attorney candidates with a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in civil litigation or professional licensing defense. Top candidates will have excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, as well as a strong academic background. Attorney associates are mentored by experienced attorneys with substantial litigation experience.The firm provides regular attorney evaluations with opportunities for advancement in a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, written discovery, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and tactics.
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in civil litigation or professional licensing defense.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.
- The position is full time, somewhat flexible, and offers some opportunity for remote work.
Starting annual base salary: $140,000 - $175,000 (negotiable), commensurate with experience and custom in the Sacramento legal community.
