Low McKinley & Salenko, LLP is a well-established, AV-rated civil litigation firm with offices in Sacramento and Chico. We are seeking industrious, committed, attorney candidates with a minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in civil litigation or professional licensing defense. Top candidates will have excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, as well as a strong academic background. Attorney associates are mentored by experienced attorneys with substantial litigation experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, written discovery, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in civil litigation or professional licensing defense.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and legal excellence.
  • The position is full time, somewhat flexible, and offers some opportunity for remote work.

Starting annual base salary: $140,000 - $175,000 (negotiable), commensurate with experience and custom in the Sacramento legal community.
