Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation. This role involves handling a diverse caseload of civil litigation and administrative defense matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, research, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Represent clients in administrative defense matters. These are cases where a licensed professional is facing potential disciplinary action against their professional license. Representation encompasses collecting and relaying information through investigations by state agencies, as well as conducting subsequent hearings and proceedings
  • Identify and collect relevant evidence, conduct legal research, and draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court appearances, mediations, and depositions
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding case evaluations and potential resolutions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex cases
  • Conduct Initial Consultations and manage the onboarding of individual clients

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation; administrative defense experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with MyCase, WestLaw, and NexisLexis
  • A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service
  • Openness and eagerness to learn and expand competency in a variety of civil and administrative case types
  • Team player mentality

Salary Description

$100,000-$120,000
