Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a diverse caseload across multiple areas of law, including personal injury, family law, land use, securities, and more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for advocacy, exceptional research and writing skills, and a proactive approach to client service. As a key member of our firm, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through complex legal processes while ensuring meticulous legal research, drafting, and negotiation.

Duties:
  • Manage and litigate a broad spectrum of civil cases from inception through resolution, including trials, motions, and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal databases to support case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant disputes, family law matters, securities regulations, workers' compensation claims, personal injury cases, tribal law & regulations, patent law issues, and more.
  • Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws; prepare for trial or alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Negotiate settlements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and client interests.
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all procedural rules and deadlines.

Skills:
  • Extensive experience in litigation across multiple civil practice areas with a focus on trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
  • Strong legal research skills using Westlaw and LexisNexis; ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly.
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting pleadings, briefs, contracts, and legal correspondence that are clear, persuasive, and well-organized.
  • Knowledge of estate planning procedures, environmental regulations, immigration processes, landlord-tenant laws, family law statutes, securities compliance standards, workers' compensation laws, personal injury claims handling procedures, tribal law & regulations frameworks, patent applications & disputes.
  • Proven negotiation skills to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting client interests.
  • Legal administrative experience including managing case files digitally and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong research capabilities combined with analytical thinking to develop innovative legal strategies. Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
