The Opportunity:
This role involves taking ownership of civil disputes from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a litigation caseload, developing strategic solutions for clients, and collaborating effectively with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a civil litigation caseload focusing on commercial, real estate, and construction disputes from pre-suit through resolution.
Appear in Texas state and federal courts for hearings, oral arguments, and trials.
Conduct discovery; take and defend depositions.
Develop case strategies, provide practical legal advice to clients, and represent client interests in mediations and settlement negotiations.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other critical litigation documents.
Collaborate with support staff and fellow attorneys to maintain accurate timekeeping and case management records.

Qualifications:

Credentials: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active, good-standing license with the State Bar of Texas.
Experience: Core proficiency in civil litigation, with practical experience in discovery, motion practice, depositions, and courtroom proceedings.
Jurisdiction: Experience handling matters in Texas state and/or federal courts.
Practice Areas: Familiarity with business, real estate, or construction litigation is preferred.
Professional Skills: Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
