Noonan Lance & Boyer LLP is seeking a talented, motivated Civil Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join our San Diego team.

At NoonanLance, associates have the opportunity to do meaningful litigation work alongside experienced trial attorneys and to develop their skills throughout the life of a case—from initial evaluation and discovery through depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.

This is an opportunity for an attorney who wants to learn, take responsibility, and grow into a well-rounded civil litigator in a sophisticated boutique litigation environment.

What You'll Do:

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Manage discovery and case deadlines
Take and defend depositions
Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the court
Work closely with experienced litigators on complex and high-stakes matters
Take increasing ownership of cases as your experience grows

What We're Looking For:

2–5 years of civil litigation experience
Active California Bar membership in good standing
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Sound judgment and attention to detail
A genuine interest in developing as a civil trial attorney
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Compensation:
The expected base salary range is $120,000–$135,000; however, actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
