Civil Defense Attorney Associate (Hybrid)

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to litigation/trial law. This role requires excellent negotiation and litigation skills, as well as the ability to provide sound legal advice to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support client cases.
• Draft legal documents
• Provide legal advice to law firm/clients on occasion
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation for clients.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect client cases.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in negotiation and litigation
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with legal administrative procedures is a plus.
• Strong Academic Credentials (Notable GPA)
• Law Review/Journal Experienced Helpful
• Moot Court Experience Helpful
