The Silicon Valley office of Jones Day has an immediate need for a corporate associate with 3-5 years' of U.S. experience required with a large or sophisticated mid-size law firm. The candidate should have a focus on SEC-registered securities offerings (equity and debt), as well as ongoing U.S. securities law compliance and reporting and corporate governance. Experience with U.S. venture capital financings, especially technology and life science companies is preferred but not required. Ability to work with other team members and clients, and "take ownership" of projects, is essential. We are a global law firm committed to excellence in client service. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
