Job Description:Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the downtown Los Angeles office of its preeminent, internationally recognized corporate practice. Associates with four to six years of capital markets and public company ('34 Act) experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience (i) representing companies in capital markets transactions; (ii) representing public companies with SEC ('34 Act) reporting, corporate governance matters, and exchange compliance; and (iii) managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day demands and work flow requirements of public company clients with sophisticated needs. Ideal candidates will also have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. The expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000-$390,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
