- California Bar License
- Experience: 0-7 years in civil litigation such as business, real estate, insurance, employment, personal injury, or consumer. To provide context, here's an overview of our sub-practice areas:
- Business Litigation: Business contracts, partner disputes, breach of contract & fraud, debt collection & debt negotiation
- Real Estate Litigation: Construction disputes, purchase & sale disputes, co-ownership disputes
- Education: JD from an accredited law school.
- Location: Live and work experience in LA County.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

- Detailed oriented, diligent, and able to "hit the ground running."

Job Description:
- Research, Drafting, & Documentation
- Review case files including intakes, court case summaries, court filings, evidence, etc.
- Legal Research Memos using: Rutter's Guides, Annotated Codes, Lexis/Westlaw, Google, etc.
- Draft and respond to legal documents in business and real estate law:
- Demand Letters
- Pleadings
- Discovery/Responses/Motions
- Case Management Memos/Statements
- Trial Documents: Briefs, Witness Lists, and Exhibit Lists
- Assign, supervise, revise, and sign all substantive documents that paralegals prepare.
- Document billable hours per client per month pursuant to approved budgets.
- Relationship Management:
- Communicate/ meet & confer with opposing counsel.
- Communicate with clients by telephone, zoom video, and/or email.
- Supervise Paralegals including revising and finalizing work product including Pleadings, Motions re: Service, Motions re: Default, Post Judgment, etc.
- Court Appearances (Phone, Video, and/or In-Person – only if required)
- Case Management Conferences/Status/Trial Setting/Final Status Conferences
- Motions
- Depositions/Mediations
- Billable Hours
- Billable Hour Requirement: Minimum 6.0 hours per day
- Bonus: 6.5-8+ hours per day
