Our firm is poised for significant expansion in 2026, and we are looking for a Business Transaction Attorney to assist our business and real estate practice with 5+ years of experience with transactions. We offer a relaxed office culture that prioritizes quality of work and meaningful client relationships.You will serve as a primary point of contact for our business clients. From helping entrepreneurs launch new ventures to navigating complex Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), your work will help our clients succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Formation: Advise on and execute entity selection and formation.
- Corporate Governance: Draft operating agreements, bylaws, and corporate resolutions.
- M&A Support: Lead the drafting and negotiation of Asset Purchase Agreements and related closing documents.
- Real Estate: Handle commercial and residential real estate transactions, including leasing and title matters.
- Strategic Advice: Act as "outside general counsel" for small to mid-sized local businesses.
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You have 5+ years of dedicated transactional experience. This role is not intended for recent graduates.
- Qualified: You are an active member in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
- Detailed: You have an eagle eye for contract drafting and a deep understanding of corporate law.
- Relatable: You can translate complex legal concepts into actionable advice for business owners.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
