We are a boutique law firm in Tukwila, WA, specializing in residential and commercial landlord/tenant law, transactional real estate, business law, probate, estate planning, and land use (condominium projects). Our mission is to help landlords, property management companies, small businesses, and families protect their investments and build legacies that last.

Our firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to support our business and real estate transactional practice. This is a mostly remote position with requirement to be available to work at the firm's office once per week or as needed. This position is open to attorneys licensed in Washington State who are looking for flexible, high-quality transactional work with long-term growth potential with at least two years' experience in the relevant practice areas.

About the role:
The Associate Attorney will primarily assist with:
  • Forming LLCs, Corporations, and other business entities
  • Drafting operating agreements and corporate governance documents
  • Drafting and reviewing business agreements, including purchase and sales, assignments or transfers of interest, and general contracts
  • Drafting real estate transactional documents, including property transfers, purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, and other transactional real estate agreements
  • Advising client through purchase or sale of a property
  • Reviewing title reports, drafting easements, and seller financing documentation
  • Supporting general business and real estate transactional matters as needed
  • Advising clients on excise and controlling interest taxes and related exemptions
  • Supporting general business and real estate transactional matters as needed

Qualifications:
  • Active Washington State bar license in good standing
  • 2+ years of experience in business and/or real estate transactional law
  • Strong drafting and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively
  • Experience with entity formation, contract drafting and review, and deedpreparation required
  • Prior law firm or contract attorney experience preferred
  • Notary license is not required, but is a plus
