We are seeking Delaware licensed Associate Attorneys with 1-3, 3-5, and 5-10 years of primarily defense civil litigation experience. Of Counsel or Counsel practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Our Delaware office manages multiple practice areas, offering a great opportunity for the lawyer who has or wants to gain firsthand experience. You will be exposed to director and officer, insurance coverage, employment law, professional malpractice, civil rights, real estate, and commercial/contract disputes.

A license to practice in Maryland and/or Washington D.C. is a plus but not required. However, the ideal candidate is willing to become licensed in these jurisdictions in the near future. Commercial bankruptcy experience is also a plus but not required.

Our office is in Wilmington, Delaware, with on-site private parking, private gym access, and easy access to some of the area's greatest attractions.

  • Comfort with courtroom appearances
  • Comfort deposing witnesses

Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an accredited institution and excellent academic credentials, law school transcripts required if you graduated in the last five years
  • MBA or business degree is a plus but not required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience billing time or willingness to learn
  • Admission to the Delaware Bar
  • Admission in Maryland and/or Washington D.C. bar(s) is a plus
  • Strong writing background, writing sample required

Competitive base salary for the right candidates. Actual compensation is determined based on market location, the candidate's experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. We offer a Total Rewards package that, in addition to the base salary, also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonuses full-time employees may be eligible to receive, and generous candidate referral incentives.
