About the Opportunity:
The Business Immigration Attorney is responsible for advising corporate and individual clients on a wide range of U.S. business immigration matters. This role requires experience across multiple visa categories, independent case management, strong client communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Case Management & Legal Expertise
  • Experience in E, L, H-1B, EB-5, and PERM cases from initial consultation through approval
  • Monitor case timelines and deadlines to ensure timely filings
  • Review drafts and filings for accuracy and legal sufficiency
  • Assist with USCIS, consular processing and client interview preparation
  • Work under pressure: tight deadlines, demanding clients

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Oversee and support team members by assigning tasks and providing guidance
  • Work collaboratively with the managing attorney, case managers, legal writers, paralegals, and support staff
  • Lead by example in professionalism, work ethics, and attention to clients.
  • Participate in resolving issues with clients when they occur.
  • Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development

Client Relations

  • Provide exceptional client service through proactive communication and regular updates
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Manage client expectations while working under pressure and tight deadlines

Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with immigration laws, employment regulations, and professional responsibility standards

Education and Skills Required
  • Law Degree and U.S. Bar admission
  • Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
  • Minimum 3 years of business immigration law experience- preferred
  • Ability to manage cases independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership – lead by example, self-motivated with a “can do” attitude and a team player
  • Adaptability and Prioritization – The ability to learn new skills and to positively handle change in the workplace; adjust to changing priorities and complete multiple projects despite interruptions
  • Initiative – Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges with independence
  • Thinking “outside the box”
