Position Overview:The Business Immigration Attorney plays a key role in managing and supporting the firm's business immigration caseload and ensuring high-quality legal services for corporate and individual clients. This position involves preparing, reviewing, and filing employment-based immigration petitions, providing strategic legal counsel, and supporting clients throughout the immigration process.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Fairfax, VA, or Silver Spring, MD, with the expectation of on-site presence three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Immigration Case Management
- Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based immigration matters
- Prepare and file petitions and applications including E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, J-1, PERM, EB-2 NIW, and EB-1 cases
- Draft legal briefs, supporting documentation, and responses to RFEs and other agency requests
- Track deadlines and ensure timely filing with USCIS and other government agencies
Client Advisory & Legal Strategy
- Provide legal guidance to corporate and individual clients on immigration options and strategies
- Communicate case updates clearly and professionally to clients
- Analyze eligibility and recommend appropriate immigration pathways
Collaboration & Case Support
- Work closely with paralegals and support staff to prepare filings efficiently
- Coordinate internally to ensure consistency and accuracy of case preparation
- Support team members in complex or high-priority cases as needed
Compliance & Legal Research
- Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates
- Ensure compliance with all applicable immigration procedures and deadlines
- Conduct legal research to support filings and case strategy
Qualifications:
- Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business/employment-based immigration law
- Experience handling E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, EB-2 NIW, and EB-1 cases
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages.
- Additional experience in specific immigration law specialties or areas of practice.
