We're Looking for An Attorney Who Has Some Experience with Bankruptcy and Wants to Get Into Chapter 11 Business Bankruptcy.
The Firm Handles More Small Business Bankruptcy Filings than Any Other Firm in The State of Texas and Practices in All Districts in Texas out Of Our Houston Office.
We Offer a Path of Mentorship and Learning the Bankruptcy Process. Our Attorneys Quickly Gain the Experience Needed to Handle Cases on Their Own.
We Do a Limited Number of Personal 7 Filings (when It Is for The Business Owner and Part of The Business Debt Reorganization Strategy), but Personal Bankruptcy Is Not Our Focus. We Do Not Handle Personal Chapter 13 Cases.
Our Business Model
We've Built an In-House Marketing Team that Delivers a Steady Stream of Business Owners Who Request Our Help. Our Intake Team Handles the Client Acquisition so Our Lawyers Can Focus on Practicing Law.
We Also Provide Cross-Training in Our Other Litigation Practice Areas, as We Believe a Well-Rounded Attorney Is a More Effective Teammate and A Better Counselor.
Objectives & Responsibilities
Primary Objectives:
- Obtain Positive Resolutions for Clients (confirmation, Discharge, Settlement, Etc.)
- Research and Construct New Angles/tactics to Win Against Well-Funded Adversaries
- Manage the Assigned Client Base, Meeting or Exceeding Expectations
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Create and Manage a Bankruptcy or Litigation Plan for Multiple Clients
- Negotiate with Opposing Counsels
- Set, Prioritize, and Work Within Deadlines
- Manage Legal Calendar
- Handle Motions, Discovery, Depositions and Hearings
- Represent Clients Before Opposing Counsel and Judges in Court
- Seek Opportunities to Increase Exceed Client Expectations
- Document Activity and Progress in Our Case Management and Billing Systems

Compensation:
Compensation Is Salary Plus Outcome-Based Bonuses, Not Just the Number of Hours You Personally Bill. We Pay for All Licensing, Continuing Education, and Encourage Professional Growth in A Variety of Ways. You Will Be Given a Running Start via Assignment of Cases from Our Substantial Client Base.
