Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is actively seeking a mid-level Business Associate to join the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Qualified candidates should have significant experience in commercial real estate transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, NDAs, site development agreements, easements, joint venture agreements, and other documents related to real estate transactions. Candidates should also have a solid background in business entity formation and governance. The ideal candidate will have some experience in general corporate matters, including drafting commercial contracts. Experience in mergers and acquisitions outside of the real estate industry, and working with private equity backed businesses is a plus. Candidates should have experience commensurate with time in practice, strong drafting and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, the ability to manage client relationships, and the ability to excel when working independently. License to practice in Pennsylvania is required.
