Job Description:Phelps Dunbar is seeking a midlevel to senior associate for the Corporate Practice Group in its Nashville, TN office. The preferred candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. Candidates should have experience working on middle-market deals, including leading workstreams on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing diligence and overall deal execution. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with partners and gain significant client exposure representing founders, owners, private equity firms, family offices, and independent sponsors across a variety of industries.
