Perdomo & Associates is a growing immigration law firm seeking a motivated USCIS Immigration Attorney to join our Dallas office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to develop or expand their USCIS practice while working in an established immigration firm with experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff.

Our attorneys are supported by a team that allows them to focus on what matters most: developing strong case strategies, providing excellent legal representation, and helping clients navigate life-changing immigration matters.

What You'll Do:
As a USCIS Immigration Attorney, you will manage and oversee a diverse caseload of affirmative immigration matters, including:

Family-based immigration petitions and applications
Adjustment of Status
Consular Processing
Naturalization and citizenship matters
Employment Authorization Documents
Humanitarian immigration matters
Asylum matters before USCIS
VAWA petitions
U Visas and other eligible forms of immigration relief
Requests for Evidence (RFEs)
Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs)
USCIS interviews and case preparation

You Will Also:

Develop legal strategies based on each client's immigration history and goals.
Review petitions, applications, declarations, supporting evidence, and legal arguments.
Prepare clients for USCIS interviews and attend interviews when necessary.
Conduct legal research and analyze complex immigration issues.
Provide legal guidance and direction to paralegals and legal assistants.
Review work prepared by support staff before filing.
Conduct consultations and evaluate potential immigration options.
Communicate with clients regarding case strategy, requirements, risks, and progress.
Monitor deadlines, USCIS notices, and changes in immigration law and policy.
Maintain accurate case documentation and case-management records.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure cases move forward efficiently and accurately.

What We're Looking For:
Required:

Active license and good standing with the Bar of any U.S. state or territory.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Strong communication and client-service skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality legal work.

Preferred:

Previous immigration law experience.
Experience handling affirmative USCIS matters.
Familiarity with family-based and humanitarian immigration cases.
Experience supervising or reviewing work prepared by paralegals or legal assistants.
Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred due to our client population.
