Position Summary:
We are seeking a Bilingual Immigration Attorney with demonstrated experience handling USCIS cases and fluency in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will be committed to client advocacy, possess excellent legal writing and communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is preferred, along with the ability to effectively manage their own schedule using digital calendar tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in immigration matters (USCIS focus).
  • Prepare and review applications, affidavits, and other legal documents.
  • Advise clients in both English and Spanish on legal options, processes, and strategies.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, colleagues, government agencies, and supervising staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to legal strategies.
  • Maintain and increase up to date knowledge of immigration law and policies through participation in webinars, staff meetings, self-education, and periodic training.
  • Prepare clients for Consular interviews.
  • Review applications and petitions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness before submitting to the corresponding government entity.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Active Bar License in the U.S.
  • Proven experience handling USCIS matters (family petitions, asylum, VAWA, naturalization, TPS, DACA, etc.).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under deadlines.
  • Commitment to professional ethics and cultural sensitivity.

Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience in U.S. immigration law firms.
  • Immigration law knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate and provide guidance to legal assistants/paralegals.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, during standard business hours, with the requirement to work at least one Saturday per month (On Site).
