Help a client understand their options, in the language they feel most comfortable using. At Genesis Legal Group, your English/Spanish fluency is part of your advocacy. We're welcoming associates, senior associates, and lateral attorneys to serve families from any of our offices in Gilbert, Scottsdale, Glendale, Lake Havasu, or Show Low.Your work and results help shape your earning potential. Compensation is based on experience, billable performance, collected revenue, and overall contribution to the firm, with earning potential up to $190,000 annually.
What you will do:
- Manage family law cases involving divorce, legal decision-making and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and enforcement.
- Guide English and Spanish speaking clients through important legal decisions with clear, thoughtful communication.
- Research cases and draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and represent clients in negotiations, mediation, hearings, and trial.
- Take ownership of your caseload while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Required Qualifications:
- JD and an active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, including clear communication about legal matters.
- Strong communication, organization, and case-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with sound judgment, initiative, and attention to detail.
- A professional, client-focused approach.
Preferred Experience:
Family law, courtroom advocacy, litigation, negotiation, mediation, and independently handling contested matters. Criminal Defense, Estate Planning, or Probate experience is a plus.
