Outstanding law firm is seeking experienced bankruptcy attorney to join our team and represent debtors' rights in federal bankruptcy court, foreclosure and loss mitigation proceedings. Must have exceptional organization, communication and advocacy skills. Responsibilities include meeting directly with clients, drafting and filing bankruptcy petitions and loss mitigation papers in U.S. Bankruptcy Court on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, representing clients in bankruptcy court hearings, and negotiating loss mitigation settlements with creditors' attorneys. Successful candidate will be a member in good standing of the New York State Bar and admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York.
