Description:
A Bankruptcy Attorney is seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team remotely. This position would place more focus on Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases, and would also involve some Chapter 7 responsibilities. This position is fully remote.Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases
- Attend 341 meetings, motion hearings, and court proceedings
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients navigating financial difficulties
- Review and approve bankruptcy petitions and related filings
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure smooth case management
- Drafting and filing Chapter 13 plans, handling claims and objections, and managing any required amendments
- Representing clients confidently in confirmation hearings and resolving confirmation-related issues
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the Middle District of Florida (Northern and Southern District licensing is a bonus)
- Strong background in Chapter 13 bankruptcy work, including remote case management
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote role while delivering top-notch client service
