Position Description:A Cincinnati Law Firm is seeking a Banking/Transactional Associate Attorney to add to their Covington, KY office. This position will perform associate level legal work for the Banking/Transactional practice group, as well as occasionally support the Corporate and Real Estate practice areas as needed. The associate will work with supervising attorneys to represent clients in a variety of matters. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, and a collegial work environment. Job Duties:
- Negotiate, draft, review, and revise various contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on various banking, real estate and corporate matters to clients.
- Complete due diligence related to banking, corporate and real estate transactions.
- Assess risk and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Conduct research on current and emerging legal issues in the Banking/Transactional, Corporate, and Real Estate Practice areas.
- Offer legal advice on matters regarding fiscal responsibilities and transactions.
- Offer legal counsel on general compliance matters.
- Work out issues that arise from projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree or anticipated Juris Doctorate in May 2026. Interest in practicing in Transactional, Corporate, or Real Estate law.
- Demonstrated drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A high level of organizational skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
