Boutique St. Clair Shores Insurance Defense law firm is seeking motivated candidates for Associate Attorney positions. Candidates must have a desire to work with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility in a dynamic and growing practice.Our practice covers a wide range of litigation matters, including:
- General negligence
- Premises liability
- Dog bite cases
- PIP, UIM/UM, and third-party auto claims
- Professional liability
- Medical malpractice
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Construction defect and construction-site accident litigation
- And other related practice areas
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan law license
- 2–8 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Confident oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage assignments with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
- Have an understanding of Insurance Defense
Responsibilities:
- 165-200 monthly billable hours
- Research and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings
- Analyze legal issues and prepare detailed memoranda
- Collaborate with litigation team
- Handle oral arguments
- Contribute to a dynamic and growing practice with significant client interaction
