Description:

Overview:
We are fielding applications from Attorneys to join our general-practice Texas firm. We dabble in most areas of law aside from criminal or family, but primarily focus on real estate litigation and solar panel fraud cases. We are a small team currently made up of four attorneys and an expanding team of support staff. Our main offices are in DFW and Austin, but we will be expanding to cover Houston as well.

We value attorneys who write with clarity, precision, and authority; who understand how to build a persuasive record; and who can step into hearings competently and confidently. Strong research skills, familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Property Code, and the ability to think strategically about litigation posture are essential. Experience with probate or real-estate litigation is preferred, although candidates with solid civil-litigation backgrounds will be considered.

Self-discipline and initiative are crucial. The right candidate is someone who moves cases forward without repeated prompting, proactively identifies next steps, and communicates promptly regarding developments, deadlines, or client needs. We expect reliability, professionalism, discretion, and consistency in the quality of work product.

  • Manage litigation processes from filing to resolution by coordinating with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting practice areas to provide accurate legal guidance.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Valid license to practice law in Texas.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving client goals efficiently.
  • Prior experience working in a law office environment or similar setting is preferred.
  • Demonstrated research skills and ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
  • Legal administrative experience is a plus for managing case documentation and deadlines efficiently. This position offers an engaging work environment where your expertise will directly impact client success while providing opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic legal practice.
