Job Description:
Hillstone Law is a dynamic and fast growing personal injury law firm seeking a motivated and experienced California licensed Personal Injury Attorney to join our team.This position is based in Westwood, CA. The role offers strong earning potential, professional growth, and the opportunity to work with an established prelitigation and litigation team handling personal injury matters.

Responsibilities:

Managing personal injury cases through various stages of prelitigation
Drafting legal correspondence
Propounding and responding to written discovery including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
Taking witness statements and conducting factual investigations when necessary
Preparing for and attending mediations
Reviewing and analyzing medical records, reports, surgical records, and medical billing related to client treatment
Evaluating liability, damages, and case value while developing strategy
Presenting theories of liability and summarizing client injuries, treatment history, and impact on quality of life
Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
Overseeing and guiding case managers to ensure files are progressing and properly documented
Collaborating with case managers, paralegals, and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution

Qualifications:

Active license to practice law in California required
3 plus years of personal injury experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing personal injury cases through litigation
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with support staff
Experience using Filevine, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams preferred
