We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney specializing in Personal Injury law to join our dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent clients, manage complex cases, and make a meaningful impact through skilled advocacy. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, negotiation, and litigation skills, with a passion for helping injured individuals seek justice.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution, including settlement negotiations and trial preparation
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
- Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather essential case information
- Advocate for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings to secure favorable outcomes
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines
- Collaborate with support staff to streamline case management processes and improve overall office efficiency
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
- Proven experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields
- Strong understanding of legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to achieve optimal settlements for clients
- Knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and other practice areas is a plus
- Legal administrative experience that supports efficient case handling and client communication
