Get to Know Us:Kiernan Trebach is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our growing New England practice. This position offers a balanced caseload, strong support staff, and the opportunity to handle substantive litigation work in New Hampshire courts.

We are seeking new Attorneys with 7+ years of experience in Insurance Defense to join our team. Your role will be to defend a variety of matters in our growing New Hampshire practice.
What you will do:
As an Attorney at our firm, you will:
- Handle all phases of litigation, from pleadings through discovery and motion practice including drafting legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
- Appear in court and work directly with clients.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and strong support staff.
- Conduct legal research, analyze data, and develop strategies for cases.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
- The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.
- Defend a Variety of Civil Litigation Defense matters including:
- General Liability
- Personal Injury
- Construction Defect
- Commercial Trucking
- Employment Law
What you will bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:
- Experience with Insurance Defense.
- Employment Law, Construction Defect, and/or Commercial Trucking Law experience is a plus.
- Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation is preferred.
- The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Civil jury trial experience a plus.
- Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a team.
Required Education & Licensure:
- Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.)
- Active New Hampshire License (Required).
- Active bars in other New England states a plus.
