The right associate will:
- Handle Client matters in and out of court
- Represent Clients at mediation
- Deliver all projects on time
- Network on behalf of the firm
- Originate new work
- Work on assigned cases and tasks
- Have core competencies like taking responsibility, reaching goals, collaborating with team members, offering solutions to issues, remaining calm under pressure and absolutely loving what they do.
- Be open to monthly reviews. Strive for continuous improvement through new ideas, and feedback
Skills Needed to Win:
- Experience in family law.
- Competence in the use of Word, Wordperfect, and Microsoft products.
- Extremely self-motivated - Hungry to achieve goals set
- Teachable attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Attention to details and excellent follow through.
- Able to prepare Legal Research and pleadings
- The drive to get things done without being micromanaged.
- Desire to build open and positive relationship with the team
