We are seeking an Associate Attorney with residential real estate experience to join our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, managing transactions, and building long-term relationships in the community.

While this position includes estate planning work, prior estate planning experience is not required. We are happy to train the right candidate. However, meaningful residential real estate experience is essential.

This position is ideal for an attorney who wants meaningful client interaction, predictable hours, and a long-term career opportunity without the pressure of billable-hour requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • Handle residential real estate transactions from contract through closing
  • Review contracts, inspection requests, title commitments, surveys, and closing documents
  • Communicate regularly with clients, realtors, lenders, and title companies
  • Attend closings throughout the Chicagoland area
  • Manage real estate files from start to finish with support from an experienced team
  • Meet directly with estate planning clients
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
  • Develop trusted relationships with clients and referral partners

What We're Looking For:
Required:
  • Illinois licensed attorney
  • At least 2 years of experience handling residential real estate transactions
  • Experience managing files from contract through closing
  • Strong communication and client-relations skills
  • Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to travel locally for closings
  • Interest in building a long-term career with a growing firm

Preferred:
  • Estate planning experience
  • Probate experience
  • Experience working in a small-firm environment
