Responsibilities:
- Handle case-related tasks including pleadings, motions, discovery, and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate and organized case documentation.
- Work collaboratively with principal counsel on existing matters.
- Ability to manage assignments with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar License (Required)
- Litigation or general practice experience preferred
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Reliable, professional, and responsive
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases at once
Compensation:
- Compensation is per case/assignment or hourly — negotiable based on experience.
- Independent contractor position (1099).
