Description:
Connell Foley is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years experience in general liability, product liability, and/or commercial litigation to be based in New Jersey (Roseland or Hackensack office). Candidates must be admitted in New Jersey and New York. Work experience and references are required. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, research capabilities as well as writing and deposition skills.The ideal candidate should have the following:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school;
- Experience preparing pleadings and discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing motions; identifying the appropriate strategies for handling cases; working with experts; and communicating with clients.
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.
