We are looking for a dedicated attorney to provide legal support and representation across multiple practice areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent research and writing abilities, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Assist with real estate transactions, including contract review, closings, and title issues.
- Provide legal counsel on business formation, contracts, and compliance matters.
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings and assist with estate administration.
- Handle tax appeal matters, including researching tax laws and preparing appeals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois or pending bar exam results.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
