Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, but specifically family law, real estate, and/or criminal law. We are looking for a skilled Family Law Attorney to handle a diverse caseload involving divorce, child custody, support, domestic violence, and other related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage cases from intake through resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of cases, including initial consultations, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Attend and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Maintain case files and meet all court-imposed deadlines.
  • Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients regarding their legal rights and obligations.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate zealously on behalf of clients.
  • Supervise or collaborate with paralegals and support staff as needed.
  • Stay current with changes in law and court procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years of experience in family law (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates).
  • Strong understanding of various areas of law including family law, real estate, and/or criminal law.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
