Position Overview:
Nathan & Nathan PC is a family-owned law firm specializing in creditors' rights. We are in search of an attorney to join our team who brings a positive attitude and is self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

Review client documentation for both intake and suit approval.
Travel for court in TN a major focus.
Review, amend and approve pleadings including motions for default, summary judgment and post judgment and update system of record for accurate status reporting to clients.
Work with legal support staff to improve process and create workflow efficiency in high volume caseload.
Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and client operating procedures.
Attend hearings and mediation in various jurisdictions within Tennessee.

Requirements:

Tennessee Bar licensure (other state bars are welcomed(MS/GA/AL) in good standing is required.
Experience with high volume case load is extremely helpful but we provide a supportive training environment if applicant does not have such experience.
Fluency in Excel, Microsoft Office and overall computer use is necessary.
Ability to pivot and accomplish multiple tasks during the work day is necessary.
Must be able to work minimum 40 hours per week-Monday through Friday.
No billable hour requirement.

Location:
