Job Summary:A Law Firm in Melville, NY invites applications from highly skilled and motivated legal professionals. This role is tailored for both individuals with 0-3 years of experience as well as those with 3-7 years of experience who possess a passion for complex fraud litigation and a drive for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, and briefs
- Represent clients in court proceedings, EUOs, Depositions, and arbitrations
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients
- Experience with legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw
