Miami Divorce Lawyers is a boutique family law and litigation firm located in the heart of Downtown Miami, only a short walk from Kaseya Center.The ideal candidate will be able to provide legal advice to and legal representation of clients in matters relating to dissolution of marriage, dependency, paternity, and other types of complex civil litigation. They should be comfortable in a fast-paced office setting, contacting clients, managing client billing, multitasking, and legal drafting. They should also possess a friendly demeanor to interact with office visitors, clients, and employees effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Legal Drafting
- Tracking client billing
- Contacting Clients
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
- Advise and represent clients in court
Qualifications:
- Ten years of experience practicing law
- Member of the Florida Bar
- Experience practicing complex litigation
- Experience in accounting, economics, and/or finance preferred
- Experience with administrative and clerical work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency in Clio
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
