Top tier Plaintiff's trial law firm is seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases and securing significant results for clients. This role requires excellent courtroom advocacy, strategic negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong client and professional relationships while managing a demanding caseload of seven and eight figure cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all phases of personal injury litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial (with team and senior attorney support).
  • Legal research and writing, including drafting complex motions and trial documents.
  • Argue motions, attend hearings, and advocate persuasively in front of judges and juries.
  • Negotiate settlements that maximize client recovery while balancing risk and cost.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case strategy and progress.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver exceptional client service and results.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • 5–10 years of experience practicing law, with substantial focus on personal injury litigation and trial work, although willing to consider other candidates with strong litigation experience in other practice areas.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to persuasively present complex cases to judges and juries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a history of securing favorable settlements.
  • Commitment to developing professional relationships with other attorneys and engaging in business development activities to support firm growth.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency, precision, and professionalism.
  • Strong reputation for professionalism, integrity, and client advocacy.
  • Willing to work from West Los Angeles or Downtown Los Angeles office (although a hybrid schedule may be considered depending on circumstances).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing membership in the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), or similar professional organizations.
  • Record of significant verdicts or settlements in personal injury cases.
  • Established professional network within the California legal community.
  • Experience mentoring junior attorneys or leading teams.
